How Thailand exceeded my expectations and why the country invites exploration.Read more
My goodness, the last time we wrote about what’s happening with our life was in August last year. Shame on us! To be fair, Sophia did write another article whilst we were in Asia, but unfortunately it never made it to the blog.
So let me tell you what we have been up to!
We spent six months in Asia and it was a blast! I kept asking myself why I didn’t go there earlier. I mean, considering we left Brazil to travel around the world, it should have taken us less than nine years to explore this part of Asia! Oh well!
It took me some time to get to sleep the night before, but it didn’t take long to realise we had chosen the wrong hammocks. Yes, they were new and beautiful; the fancy red and green weave definitely caught our eyes — we were perhaps too quick in deciding to buy it. Unfortunately we didn’t know better.
Two boat journeys down, three more left, we had reached Brazil and our next leg of the journey which would take us by another slow boat from Tabatinga to Manaus.
Adopting minimalist travel is not that hard, in fact, it’s a lot easier than you think! When you understand it’s not only about possessions, you’ll embrace the right minsdet.
